A hot water circulation pump gives you hot water where you need it, when you need it, without any waiting. It's something to benefit all homes. You will find that a new circulation pump will be most effective if you fitting it to the plumbing fixture that’s furthest from the hot water tank in your house. It doesn’t matter what type of fixture this is and it could be a shower or a sink. Find the best location and select a suitable place alongside it for the circulation pump. First, turn off the water at the house main and follow up by turning off the water to the fixture to which you’ll be attaching the circulation pump. Drain the water from the fixture.
Next, you may need to attach the pump to the wall. Use a stud finder to locate the studs on the wall and mark off your drilling points with a pencil. Now, use a level to ensure the pump is straight and make any necessary adjustments.
